| Uganda Community Based Association for Women and Children Welfare (UCOBAC) with pleasure presents to you its newly appointed members of the Board who were inaugurated into their respective positions this April on 21st. The members will hold office for three years. The team appointed comprises of (From top left) 1. Ms Grace Angeline Chelimo, the Chairperson. She is a lawyer and a key resource person working with the Justice, Law and Order Sector. 2. Mr. Shafiq Butanda, the Vice Chairperson. He is an expert in child protection, gender and sexual and reproductive health issues and is a Principal Probation and Welfare Officer at the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development. 3. 4. Mrs. Solome Mukisa – Board Advisor/Strategic Director. She is the Executive Director at UCOBAC and has vast experience in social work and administration.4.Ms. Loretta Owino – Treasurer and representative for Northern region. She is a former program manager at UCOBAC, an expert at SRHR issues and is an Implementation Lead at the Voluntary Service Organization.6. Mr. Tenywa David Kazungu – Member Eastern region. He is a social worker and an educationalist. He is a focal point person for the education sector development partners. 5. Ms. Ndagire Mary Noeline – Member Central region. She is a Senior Community Development Officer in Mubende district and has a wealth of experience on community transformation. At UCOBAC we are thrilled and welcome the new members.
