Opio Silvanous is the Food Security and Livelihoods Project Officer in Lamwo District for the Uganda Community-Based Association for Women and Children Welfare (UCOBAC) under the AWO International project.
He also serves as the Board Chairman of Padibe Health Centre IV.
Pio holds a Diploma in General Agriculture and has seven years of experience in agronomy and Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA).
He previously worked as a Community-Based Trainer with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), the Restoration of Agricultural Livelihoods in Northern Uganda (RALNUC), and the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) as an Agricultural Extension Facilitator.
His core values are transparency and accountability.
While away from work, Pio enjoys listening to music, watching educative videos, and engaging with communities to promote positive change and environmental protection.
