Akech Priscilla Kitara is the Accounts Officer at the Uganda Community Based Association for Women and Children Welfare (UCOBAC).
Priscilla upholds accountability, transparency, and the efficient allocation of resources in her operational support to implementation processes.
She has four years of experience working in finance within the development sector in Uganda. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science of Accounting, with a major in Accounting and Finance.
Currently, she is pursuing a professional certification to become a Certified Public Accountant with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.
Priscilla is passionate about advocating for compliance in the utilization of financial resources, developing financial strategies to solve problems, preparing and managing budgets, and generating accurate financial reports for stakeholders with transparency and consistency.
In her free time, she enjoys playing chess, swimming, singing, watching movies, riding bikes, traveling, and making new friends.
