Our Campaigns

Building Voice and Power for Women and Marginalized Groups

Our campaigns are grounded in community-driven advocacy that uplifts the rights and well-being of women, children, and vulnerable populations. We work to challenge systemic inequalities, promote inclusive governance, and influence policy and practice through bold, collective action. Our efforts focus on transforming harmful social norms, strengthening grassroots leadership, and ensuring access to essential resources and services for sustainable, equitable development.

We’re currently leading transformative campaigns in communities across several districts in Uganda.

Our focus is on driving transformative change by addressing the overlooked issues that deeply affect women and vulnerable groups. Through our campaigns, we aim to shift power to communities, elevate grassroots solutions, and push for systems that recognize care work and secure women’s rights to land and resources.

Stand for Her Land Campaign (S4HL) Uganda

The Stand for Her Land (S4HL) campaign is a civil society led global collaborative campaign with a mission to strengthen women’s land rights through collective advocacy that aims to close the implementation gap between law and practice. By tackling deeply rooted social norms and cultural practices, limited legal literacy on the existing laws and practices on Land, funding and institutional capacity weaknesses and barriers to land justice, the campaign seeks to create a more inclusive and equitable land governance system by positioning grassroots women at the center to hold and exercise strong, gender equal land related political efficacy and agency.

Just Care Economy Advocacy Campaign (JCEA)

The Just Care Economy Advocacy Campaign (JCEA) is a powerful grassroots-led initiative championing the recognition, resourcing, and compensation of women community caregivers who have long filled critical support roles during times of crisis. Launched during the Global Grassroots Women Community Caregivers Summit in Mexico City in June 2023, the campaign calls for a transformation in how societies value care work. By demanding structural change and inclusive policies, JCEA aims to establish a care economy that acknowledges the essential contributions of grassroots caregivers and ensures their inclusion in social and economic decision-making processes at all levels.
