Ritah Kemigisa is a media practitioner with seven years of experience in the industry. She cut her journalistic teeth at KFM Radio under the Nation Media Group (NMG) flagship, which has the largest footprint in East and Central Africa. She is among the first female radio talk show hosts in Uganda.
Ritah is a highly skilled and experienced journalist, passionate about telling stories that matter. She is deeply committed to changing the lives of women and girls and often takes time to encourage those around her to believe in themselves, for she believes the future belongs to them. She is self-motivated, proactive, and believes in taking each step at a time.
Ritah is the current Advocacy and Communication Associate for the Stand for Her Land campaign in Uganda (S4HL-Uganda), under the Uganda Community-Based Association for Women and Children’s Welfare (UCOBAC).
She holds a degree in Journalism and Communication from Makerere University and is also a Women in News Fellow.
