Ogwang Nathan Ariko is a Project Officer at the Uganda Community-Based Association for Women and Children Welfare (UCOBAC), where he leads the implementation of a land rights project under the organization’s broader initiatives.
Nathan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science Technology and Management and a Diploma in Cartography. He is a skilled Land and GIS professional with over six years of experience in both the development and business sectors, with expertise in land management, construction, and renewable energy.
His work is centered on promoting land rights for marginalized groups, including women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), orphans, and youth—recognizing secure land ownership as a catalyst for economic empowerment and social inclusion.
Outside of his professional role, Nathan is a devoted family man who believes that strong relationships are essential for safeguarding the rights of women and children. In his leisure time, he shares his passion for music with children and teenagers as a form of creative engagement and mentorship.
