Hedwige Masambagawinyi is the Project Officer for the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Gender-Based Violence (SRHR/GBV) Program at the Uganda Community Based Association for Women and Children’s Welfare (UCOBAC).
She is a passionate and evolving development practitioner, intrinsically motivated to learn, unlearn, and re-learn skills that advance children’s rights and improve community welfare. Hedwige is also deeply interested in how international dynamics influence regional and local governance practices.
She believes in diplomacy as a powerful tool for peace and transformation, advocating for thoughtful, patient approaches to development processes.
Hedwige holds a Bachelor’s degree in Governance and International Relations from Uganda Christian University.
