In partnership with PEPFAR, UCOBAC is operating in Ogom Sub- County in Pader District under the “Address discriminatory norms/ practices on HIV and GBV against women and girls” project with the aim of tackling the deeply entrenched negative social and gender norms and practices that influence community attitude towards persons living with HIV hindering progressive support and stopping many from adhering to treatment, shying from accessing care and counselling. The project is being implemented in Telela East and Yitoduny West Villages of Ogom Subcounty in Pader District targeting community members with Adolescent girls, young women and child mothers being the main focus.
